Join Kathy in the Harbottle Suite in the Black Gate and make your own battling knight, helmet mask or brass rubbing to take home with you. Crafts are free, but donations are always welcome to cover the cost of materials!

Come and say hello to two of our Castle Characters in the Keep this half term! Mary Bruce, sister of Robert the Bruce, isn’t letting captivity get her down and will be happy to regale you with details of the lives of the medieval nobility, including how they kept themselves clean and tidy. Matilda the Barber will also be on hand to help those with any stubborn ailments - shaving, pulling teeth, bleeding and even the odd amputation, she’s done it all!
